About Me

There’s something about the water that has always drawn me in. Whether it’s the stillness of a pool I’ve designed, the rhythmic waves of the ocean during a freediving session, or the way light dances on its surface, water has a way of grounding me. It’s where I learned one of my most valuable lessons: the power of focus. In apnea, you don’t fight against the water—you work with it. You learn to control your mind, to regulate your emotions, and to face the greatest monster you’ll ever encounter: yourself.

That same focus and adaptability have shaped my approach to life and work. I’m a civil engineer by trade, but my passions stretch far beyond blueprints and calculations. I’m fascinated by the geometry of nature—the golden ratio in a seashell, the Fibonacci sequence in a sunflower, the patterns that emerge in everything from galaxies to snowflakes. These patterns inspire me to create designs that are not only functional but also beautiful, designs that harmonize with their environment and enhance the lives of those who interact with them.

Music has also played a significant role in shaping who I am. As a clarinet player, I’ve experienced the thrill of making split-second decisions while reading sheet music—adjusting tempo, dynamics, and expression in milliseconds. Unlike solving a math problem, where the path to the answer is often static, music is dynamic and alive. It’s a constant exercise in adaptability and creativity, much like engineering.

And then there’s football—the sport that has been a constant in my life. I’m passionately devoted to one team, the team from my hometown. They may not be the best, and they haven’t won much, but they have a piece of my heart that no other team could ever claim. Some of my closest friendships were forged around a football, and those moments remind me that life’s greatest joys often come from shared passions.

Professionally, I’ve spent years working on infrastructure projects of national significance—roads, bridges, tunnels, slope stabilizations, and even commercial pools. I’ve seen how decisions, both big and small, can shape the trajectory of a project, a team, or even an entire company. What fascinates me most is how often those decisions, even the technical ones, are driven by emotions. I’ve seen how a single emotional choice can steer a project in the wrong direction, creating ripple effects that impact timelines, budgets, and even morale.

But here’s the thing: I’m also acutely aware that overanalyzing can be just as harmful. Paralysis by analysis is a real risk, and it’s something I’ve learned to navigate carefully. That’s why I’ve become so passionate about data-driven decision-making. Not the kind that requires weeks of deliberation, but the kind that’s simple, dynamic, and instant. Enter: dashboards.

For me, dashboards are more than just tools—they’re a philosophy. They represent the perfect balance between intuition and analysis, between speed and precision. They allow us to cut through the noise, focus on what matters, and make decisions that are both informed and timely. Whether it’s designing a bridge, optimizing a construction process, or planning a commercial pool, I believe that the best solutions come from combining technical expertise with clear, actionable data.

When I’m not immersed in engineering or music, you’ll likely find me exploring the world of video games. I love the idea of life presenting a new “villain” to conquer each day—it’s a sign that you’re advancing and embracing new challenges. And just like in a game, I’ve learned the importance of teamwork. A well-coordinated team is like a pack of wolves: each member has a clear role, and together, they move swiftly toward a shared goal.

But perhaps the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is the importance of time. Time is our most precious resource—Kronos GMT is a constant reminder of that. It’s why I’m so passionate about developing processes, systems, and automations that not only improve efficiency but also give people more time to enjoy what truly matters. For me, that’s my family, where I find my greatest sense of fulfillment.
